ALICANTE. The Alicante firm Bumerania Robotics, a technology company with intelligent collaborative robotics solutions, will be one of the protagonists of TechYhotel, during the Fitur 2022 celebration, from January 19 to 21. Bumerania will also participate, within the TechyNegocio Forum, in the round table Robotics and biometrics to empower, on Friday, January 21, at 12:30 p.m. This table will address the influence and trend of robotics and biometrics in business processes, seen as a help tool and not as a threat to employees of companies in the tourism sector, as well as being an added value for the client . Temi is designed to work as a complete smart assistant for hotels. It has adapted software that allows it to perform specific tasks.

Bumerania has developed a solution that allows access to hotel rooms through facial recognition, without the need for keys or cards.

The procedure to activate this option is simple; During the check-in process, the client is offered the possibility of accessing his room through facial recognition. If you wish to incorporate it into your hotel experience, a series of photographs are taken to create the biometric identification. In addition, and to guarantee a double security process, a unique and exclusive QR code is generated at the same time, with which the door of the room can also be opened.

Restaurants and cafes

Smart robots for restaurants and cafeterias are an innovative and efficient option to complement professionals in the sector, including interaction functions that generate a special and attractive experience for the customer.

BumiBot and PrettyBot are two intelligent collaborative robot models capable of distributing food, crockery, towels and other restaurant items at the table without requiring contact with diners, also guaranteeing food hygiene and safety.

BumiBot enables approximately 400 food and beverage deliveries per day in restaurants, freeing waiters from repetitive tasks and allowing them to spend more time serving customers and being creative.

These robots have a system that facilitates their movement in the room. It has a low and fixed base, under which the motors for the wheels are integrated. This same base is already used to carry food, but in addition to this surface, the waiter robot has two other trays placed diagonally above it and supported by an arch that rises from the base.

It avoids obstacles, detects food removal and automatically returns for the next delivery. It transmits emotions and communicates by voice with customers. It has a linkage suspension system to ensure that the products do not suffer any impact.
