The result was achieved through a raid and search carried out by the Tax and Customs Police in the urban area of ​​the capital of Magdalena.

The Fiscal and Customs Police, Polfa, in coordination with the Directorate of National Taxes and Customs, Dian, are advancing in their offensive against smugglers, in favor of maintaining security, economic and social order of the population, leaving as a result in the last hours seizures amounting to $70 million pesos.

The result was obtained through search and search activities in the urban area of ​​the city of Santa Marta, where the seizure of 114 pairs of footwear and 31 units of clothing of foreign origin was achieved, commercially valued at more than 77 million of pesos, which did not comply with current customs regulations; for which the precautionary measure of apprehension was applied as established in Decree 1165 of 2019, being made available to the Directorate of National Taxes and Customs (DIAN), to continue the corresponding administrative procedures.

Similarly, a prevention campaign was carried out against COVID-19, raising awareness among citizens so as not to lower their guard and continue with the use of face masks, constant hand washing and cleaning of vehicle surfaces and thus avoid the spread of the virus.
